How much does the program cost?
There is no cost to any resident. We are funded by donations and the work that we do!
What ages are accepted?
We accept men ages 18 and up who are broken and ready for change.
How do you get into the program?
Every Tuesday Night we have a Breaking Bonds Service at Southwest Church of Christ. Service starts at 6:15 pm and we interview applicants afterwards.
Do I need insurance to qualify?
No, there is no cost to any resident to attend the program. We are funded by donations and the work we do.
How long does the program last?
The program is seven months in a faith-based residential treatment facility.
Phase One
Months 1-3
Biblical Foundations
Here the men focus on what’s most important, their relationship with Jesus Christ. Months 1 – 3 place a heavy emphasis on Biblical foundation and spiritual formation. Bible studies take place over the duration of the seven months in program and during the first three months, men participate in an all day Bible study two days per week.
Phase Two
Months 4-6
Life Skills Training
Months 4-6 begin to focus on getting the men ready to go back out into the world. Participants attend eighteen, three-hour workshops over nine weeks and are taught FranklinCovey’s “Seven Habits of Highly Effective People,” “Leading at the Speed of Trust,” and “The Five Choices of Extraordinary Productivity” as well as Dave Ramsey’s “Financial Peace University.”
Phase Three
Month 7
Biblical Foundations
Every man that comes through our program is different; therefore, every transition out of our program looks a bit different. Our month seven transition period is designed to set each man up for success upon graduation. This month is devoted to tying up legal affairs, helping to reinstate driver’s licenses, finding work, housing, etc.
